The Micro-Vu PL-620 Automated Platen provides stable workholding for large, flat parts on Excel measuring machines.
• Holds thin parts flat and stationary

The platen is designed for parts that must be held flat and stationary, such as artwork, masks, and inner layers for printed circuit board. The automated hinge boasts 6 second open and close times and a large 120 millimeter opening for great accessibility.
The innovative design adds an advanced workholding solution for flat parts while preserving almost the entire working volume of the machine. The measuring area is reduced by only 15 millimeters on each side in the X axis only. The PL-620 can be added to any Excel 651 or Excel 661 system at the factory or in the field.
